Hello, I’m Cesca – a passionate and experienced cello teacher based in York. I’ve been offering one-to-one cello lessons for over 11 years, and I’m committed to making music education fun, personalised, and rewarding.

After graduating in 2017 with a BA (Hons) in Music, I spent seven and a half years touring across the UK with the renowned ELO tribute band ‘The ELO Experience’, performing in some of the country’s top theatres. During this time, I continued to teach from my home in York. I’ve now stepped away from touring to dedicate myself fully to all my wonderful students.
Outside of music, I love travelling, spending time in nature, and making memories with my husband, our daughter, and our cheeky cockapoo, Indie.
I’ve been teaching one-to-one cello lessons in York for over 11 years, working with students of all ages and abilities. My experience spans both in-person and online lessons, ensuring continuity and flexibility when needed. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the cello after a break, I tailor each lesson to suit your individual goals and learning style.

My teaching style is fun, positive, and encouraging. I believe that confidence grows through support and enjoyment—not pressure. Above all, I aim to create a relaxed and motivating environment where learning the cello is something to look forward to, no matter your age or experience.
